Starbucks Açaí Refresher Copycat
A homemade version of the popular Starbucks Açaí Refresher, made with a simple fruit syrup base that you can mix with water for a refreshing drink at home.

Ingredients
- 2 cups of white grape juice
- 2 cups strawberries
- 1.5 teaspoon acai powder
- 1/4 teaspoon citric acid
- 1/2 teaspoon passionfruit powder
- 1/2 cup white granulated sugar (optional for additional sweetness)
Method
- Blend together the strawberries and the white grape juice.
- Pour the blended mixture into a medium saucepan and bring to a boil, boil for 5 minutes, monitoring to ensure that the mixture does not boil up and over the edges of the pot.
- Remove the pot from the heat, add in the acai powder, citric acid, passionfruit powder and optionally sugar if you like your beverages sweet.
- Strain the mixture to create your syrup.
- Cool the mixture to room temperature before placing in an airtight container and holding in the fridge for up to 10 days.
- To serve, mix 1 part syrup and 1 part water together, then pour over ice. Optionally you can add freeze dried strawberries or freshly slices strawberries to the beverage.
Notes
You can also add in some caffeine powder or green tea extract if you need that energizing boost.
