Ingredients
- ½ cup nutritional yeast
- 3 tbsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp parsley
- 1 tbsp celery seed (or 2 tbsp celery powder)
- 2 tsp fine sea salt
- 2 tsp ground white pepper
- 2 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp ground thyme
- ½ tsp rubbed sage
- ¼ tsp ground rosemary
Method
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly.
- Store the spice mix in an air-tight container separately from rice, or prep in jars pre-measured with rice for convenience.
- To cook, use the ratio: 1 cup rice + 1 tbs seasoning + 2 cups water or broth + 1 tbs butter.
- Cook rice as normal.
Notes
Makes about 18 tablespoons of seasoning. Follow the ratio of 1 cup rice to 1 tablespoon of seasoning and multiply depending on how much rice your family eats.
